Massimo Zucchi graduated in Architecture at the University of Rome
and started his career working on major urban development & architectural projects.
In 1978 he met Italian jeweler Gianni Bulgari who gave him the opportunity
to become one of his designers.
After collaborating with the Bulgari Group for over 4 years, designing jewellery, watches and luxury articles, in 1983 he established Studio Zucchi Design,
a design boutique specialized in luxury goods, with a focus on jewellery and watches, based in Milan, the capital of Italian fashion and product design.
For 30 years, the Studio has collaborated with the world’s most prestigious luxury brands on Luxury Products design and Point of Sale architecture, establishing long-term relationships with clients such as Asprey, Bulgari, Chaumet, Corum, de Grisogono, Escada, Graff Diamonds, Harry Winston, Rolex, Tahiti Perles.
Work on industrial design has included projects for Bugatti, Pininfarina, Samsung.
In 1987-1998 Massimo Zucchi was lecturer and coordinator for the Jewelry Design Dept. at the European Institute of Design in Milan, and in 2008-2009 was project Leader for the Master in Accessories Design – Jewelry at the
He has been Art Director for Rolex with overall responsibility for all windows-displays of Rolex’s global sales-point network, for 15 years.
In 2013 he has established a new company in Geneva, Massimo Zucchi SA, with an aim to be closer to his traditional clients - the Swiss Watch Brands.
He has been a member of the Italian architect register (Albo dell’Ordine degli Architetti) since 1979 and a member of ADI (Associazione Disegno Industriale)
and BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations) since 1993.
